The Navy's second Patrol Hydrofoil Gunboat, USS Tucumcari (PGH-2) passing to starboard as we were approaching the entrance to NAB Little Creek for the first time. A few months later, the Tucumcari was nearly destroyed while in the Carribbean when it hit a reef while making a highspeed run.

Ah yes, nothing rides like a "T" in a cross-bearing sea! These seas went on for hours and was the first and only time I puked while onboard the Barn.
