June, 1999: This is a photo of one of the two the Palm Springs Tramway gondolas taken while heading up to Mountain Station. This is definitely not a ride for those with "weak knees". At night, this ride gives you spectacular views of the Palm Springs area.

May 18, 2008: View of one of the "new" Tramway gondolas. These gondolas went into operation in September of 2000 and can hold up to 80 people and rotate 360 degrees twice as they transit between the Valley Station and the Mountain Station, giving all gondola riders spectacular views of the mountainside and Palm Springs valley below.
