This is a photo of the bull wheel and gear drive mechanism that was used to pull the cable cars up the incline railway from Rubio Canyon to the Echo Mountain Resort. From here, passengers could remain or transfer to the Mt. Lowe train that would take them further up to the Mt. Lowe Resort.
